USS Sea Foam
The Sea Foam was a hermaphrodite brig purchased by the Navy 14 September 1861 and commissioned 27 January 1862. She was assigned to the West Gulf Blockading Squadron as a mortar schooner until she was ordered North in May 1864.
Despite both links below saying she was on the Mississippi during 1863, evidence shows her in Pensacola in the autumn of 1863 due to her yellow fever victims being transfered to NH Pensacola rather than NH New Orleans.
