USS Ossipee
The USS Ossipee was a wooden screw sloop-of-war built by Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, launched 16 November 1861 and commissioned 6 November 1862.
She was assigned to the West Gulf Blockading Squadron in May 1863, departing Hampton Roads 18 May and arriving in Pensacola on the 29th. She remained on station until June 1865.
