USS Mobile (ex-USS Tennessee)
The Mobile was a sidewheel steamer captured as a prize in New Orleans in April 1862 and commissioned 8 May 1862 as the USS Tennessee. She was renamed to USS Mobile effective 1 September 1864 after the capture of the CSS Tennessee at the Battle of Mobile Bay
