USS Milwaukee
The Milwaukee was a double-turreted river monitor, laid down in 1862, launched 4 February 1864 and commissioned 27 August 1864. She was initially assigned to the Mississippi River Squadron but was re-assigned to the West Gulf Squadron, arriving in New Orleans 27 October 1864.
On 28 March 1865, Milwaukee struck a mine in the Blakely River and sank without loss of life.
