USS Glasgow (ex-USS Eugenie)
The USS Glasgow (ex-USS Eugenie) was a sidewheel steamer captured as a prize off Mobile Bay 6 May 1863 and commissioned 9 July 1863 as USS Eugenie after purchase from the Key West Prize Court with Acting Ensign N. M. Dyer commanding. Eugenie was renamed Glasgow 21 January 1864.
She was assigned to the West Gulf Squadron squadron after commissioning and was retained after the war. Glasgow was decommissioned 17 October 1868 and sold 4 June 1869.
