USS Augusta Dinsmore
The Augusta Dinsmore was steamer acquired by the Navy and commissioned around 21 July 1863 and assigned to the West Gulf Blockading Squadron, reaching New Orleans in December 1863.
She was used primary as a dispatch and supply steamer on the New Orleans to Texas route.
The Augusta Dinsmore was decommissioned on 28 August 1865 and sold at auction.
